Trimlight Beginning
In 2010, Ryan, our founder, got fed up with the yearly hassle of putting up holiday lights on his house and then having to remove them in the icy, snowy conditions a month later. He set out to find a better solution and dived deep into research on home construction to find the perfect permanent lighting solution.
He figured out that the best way to avoid damaging the roof or gutters was to install lights along the edge of the roof, also known as the fascia. When neighbors started asking about his new method, Ryan got together with his closest friends to turn Trimlight into a business.
Since then, Trimlight has grown significantly, with thousands of light installations nationwide and the creation of over 40 dealerships in the U.S. and Canada. Even as the company has adapted to new technologies and the increased dependability of LED lights, Trimlight keeps innovating and improving their offerings.
Trimlight’s goal is to brighten homes throughout America and eventually the world with long-lasting, programmable lights that can be tailored for any holiday or event, all year round.
SETX Trimlight Beginning
Southeast Texas TrimLight was established in 2022 by Cody Broussard and Mark Bryant with a vision to bring high-quality, permanent exterior lighting to homes and businesses across the region. As the company began to grow, they hired Damion Guidry as the manager to help lead operations and serve customers with excellence.
For nearly four years, Damion helped oversee installs, build customer relationships, and grow the brand throughout Southeast Texas. Then, on January 1, 2026, Damion proudly purchased Southeast Texas TrimLight and began leading the company independently.
Today, SETX TrimLight is proudly veteran owned and operated, built on values of integrity, hard work, and commitment to service. With over 300 customers served, the company remains dedicated to delivering exceptional installations, reliable support, and long-term customer care to every homeowner we work with — both now and in the years to come.
